Arizona has a lot of very dry landscape and very hot desert. It also has some exquisitely beautiful flowers, both on the ubiquitous cactuses and in the spritely gardens and near the mountain streams in Scottsdale, Camp Verde, Sedona and Jerome.
I've put together a video photo album of some of my favorite shots of the flora I saw in Arizona on my visit there, April 28 through May 4, 2016, and added some fun music, called Carry On Bach, by Paul Arden Taylor, performed by the Academy Wind Trio.
Another Silly Video by Susan Kirby. Arizona may have a lot of desert, but it also has many beautiful flowers, many on the cacti, and many growing in the wild and in gardens. This is a video photo album of some of the striking flora seen April 29 through May 3 in Camp Verde, Scottsdale, Sedona and Jerome, Arizona.
My profound thanks to Mary Makin for her hospitality and her generous willingness to take me to all the places where these flowers thrived. Many of these plants were in her gardens in Camp Verde.
